This long-established commercial construction contractor is looking for a Project Manager to join the team. Your new company This long-established commercial construction contractor delivers projects across a broad range of sectors including retail, education, government and institutional, commercial and industrial facilities, and public infrastructure. The business is known for delivering complex builds and working in live operational environments. With a streamlined structure and approachable senior leadership, the team offers clear decision-making and strong support throughout the project lifecycle. Your new role As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of a major new-build commercial construction project, managing the delivery from tender handover through to completion. Operating as the primary client interface, you will lead the project team and oversee all commercial, contractual and construction outcomes. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end delivery of a large-scale commercial new-build project Acting as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders Managing internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Driving construction methodology, sequencing and program delivery Managing head contracts, subcontractor procurement and contract administration Overseeing budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial performance Managing variations, EOTs, RFIs and contractual correspondence Ensuring WHS, quality, environmental and statutory compliance Leading and mentoring project team members and reporting on progress and risk What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring strong commercial acumen and proven experience delivering commercial construction projects. You will ideally have: Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects through to completion Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills High-level commercial and contractual knowledge Sound understanding of construction programs, sequencing and delivery strategies Experience working with established commercial building contractors Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capability Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, engineering or a related discipline Current White Card and relevant industry accreditations What you'll get in return In return, youll join a stable and respected contractor delivering a high-profile project with full autonomy and accountability.
