Senior Business Analyst I 6 months plus potential extensions - payroll transformation
Rate: $850 per day plus superannuation (PAYG)
Are you a Senior Business Analyst with deep payroll transformation experience? Ready to play a key role in a large‑scale payroll system RFP and implementation?
We're looking for a Senior BA (Payroll) to join a critical program delivering a new payroll solution across Australia and New Zealand.
Your new role
Lead end‑to‑end payroll process discovery and future‑state design
Support vendor evaluation and RFP activities
Map complex payroll processes using BPMN 2.0
Translate payroll rules into clear business requirements, epics and user stories
Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Technology and vendors
Support testing, parallel runs, cutover and hypercare
Key Selection Criteria
5+ years' Business Analysis experience
3+ years delivering payroll system implementations or transformations
Strong knowledge of AU & NZ payroll compliance (PAYG, super, awards, KiwiSaver, payroll tax)
Proven experience with process mapping & documentation
Confident senior stakeholder engagement skills
Bonus points if you have:
Workday or HRIS integration experience
Exposure to platforms like Dayforce, iChris or Workday
CBAP / Agile certification
