About the Role
Darling Downs Bank is a customer-owned financial institution offering loans and financial services to benefit the community. We operate under a Board of Directors and employ 41 staff members, indirectly supporting many more. Our organisation is supervised by regulatory authorities and provides the government deposit guarantee of up to $250,000 per individual.
Key Responsibilities
* Attending board meetings either in-person or online (in-person preferred).
* Providing organisational direction and strategy assistance.
* Serving as an ambassador for the organisation.
* Exercising strong governance oversight and independent judgement.
Requirements and Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you will be a strategic and commercially minded individual with demonstrated experience working as a Non-Executive Director. Ideally, you will reside within our market area and have strong ties to the Darling Downs region. We are seeking an individual who can positively influence others, think strategically, and identify and critically assess strategic opportunities.
