About the role
As a Cook/Cleaner at WATERDRILL AUSTRALIA PTY LTD', you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the remote camp facilities. This is a full-time position based out of Mackay, QLD 4740, going to remote Queensland to our drilling rig.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and cook a variety of meals for employees, following recipes and maintaining quality standards
* Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and organised at all times
* Stock and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
* Assist with food service and clean-up duties as needed
* Keep all rooms clean and tidy
* Daily washing and general cleaning duties.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a cook or in a similar food service role
* Minimum of 2+ years cooking experience required
* Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
* Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
