A bit about your role
The nbn Community Engagement Specialist (CES) plays a key role within the Regional Development and Engagement team focusing on enhancing digital capability and infrastructure across regional Australia.
The CES is responsible for:
* Engaging with communities, stakeholders and local organisations to deliver programs, campaigns and events that support digital inclusion, emergency preparedness and regional development.
* Executing local strategies and providing insights to influence national initiatives.
* Fostering strong stakeholder relationships and supporting co‐investment awareness drives, service uptake and operational performance while promoting a safety‐first culture.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate will have:
* Good years of experience in stakeholder and community engagement, preferably within regional, rural or remote communities.
* Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
* Influence a wide range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
* Solid understanding of telecommunications developments.
* A valid Australian driver's licence and a commitment to safety and adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
