Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled ADF Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in supporting ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals. You will be responsible for performing assessments, developing rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments
* Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans
* Collaborate with clients, medical specialists, and other treatment providers to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
* Australian Citizenship
* Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
