Teaching Biology and Marine Science in a supportive, learner-focused environment involves creating a classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum. This includes expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
The successful applicant will be committed to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students. They will also have a passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
As a secondary teacher, you will work collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers, and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture.
You will proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes and establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students while supporting their spiritual and moral development. The teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
