Insurance Technical Accounting Specialist

The Insurance Technical Accounting Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records related to insurance transactions. This involves the meticulous execution of insurance technical accounting processes, encompassing the management of premiums, commissions, claims, and technical reserves.

This specialist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, contributing to month-end closing, and aiding in the testing and implementation of new accounting tools. Additionally, they will analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the insurance industry. They should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
