We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our grain origination team in Toowoomba, Queensland with the option to work remotely. In this key role you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with grower customers, identifying business needs and positioning Cargill as the partner of choice.

Job Purpose and Impact

As an Origination Graduate, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining relationships with growers, understanding local market dynamics, and supporting the execution of grain procurement strategies.

This role offers hands-on experience in commodity origination, commercial negotiation, and supply chain coordination.

Key Accountabilities

* Develop strong relationships with growers and local stakeholders (including brokers) to understand their needs and promote Cargill's grain marketing solutions.
* Face to face interactions (on farm and otherwise)
* Monitor local and global grain markets, competitor activity, and seasonal conditions to support origination decisions.
* Maintain accurate records of grower interactions, contract status, and market insights. Support and provide input into reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of grain contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Collaborate with logistics, back office, and trading teams to ensure smooth execution of grain movements and payments.
* Support team with administrative duties including data entry and report management
* Participate in structured learning modules, mentoring sessions, and cross-functional projects to build commercial and technical capability.
* Learn and understand drivers of profit and loss and take commercial decisions to generate revenue
* Learn on the job from specialists, developing technical and soft skills and receiving coaching from the manager and peers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* Tertiary Education, preference is for Agriculture and/or Commercial disciplines,
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong learning agility and adaptability in a changing environment
* Strong team player and collaborative approach
* Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives
* Valid drivers license required
* Willingness to travel and work in rural locations as required
