Overview
PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is seeking an experienced, energetic, and supportive Reservations Supervisor to join our friendly Reservations team on a permanent full-time basis (Monday–Friday). The role is primarily based at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, located adjacent to Melbourne Airport, with 276 refurbished guest rooms, 16 Meeting & Events Conference rooms, and the Airo Restaurant & Bar.
In this role you will report directly to the General Manager with a functional reporting relationship to the Director of Revenue Management, Victoria.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with guests and internal team members/departments.
- Monitor the daily operations of the Reservations Department.
- Review and compile reports (daily and monthly).
- Establish pickup trends, occupancy history, and market segment development to facilitate accurate forecasting.
- Control rooms inventory including allotments, groups and individual reservations to deliver maximum RevPAR.
- Oversee two Reservation Agents.
Qualifications
- Experience executing the reservations function for 4- or 5-star properties.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Diploma or higher from a recognised hospitality or tertiary institution.
- Proven track record in leading and developing teams.
- Opera PMS, Opera Reservations, and Siteminder experience (preferred).
