About the role:
Bakers Delight, a well-established and respected bakery chain, is seeking an energetic, hands-on Bakery Manager to join our thriving team in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a full-time position, you will play a pivotal role to lead our team and help us deliver the warm, community‐focused experience we're known for.
What You'll Do
* Oversee daily bakery sales operations
* Lead, train, and motivate a small team
* Manage rosters, stock, ordering, and suppliers
* Maintain high standards of customer service and food presentation
* Drive sales, efficiency, and a positive team culture
* Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace standards
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in hospitality management (café or bakery preferred)
* Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality management experience required
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, customer‐focused environment
* Solid understanding of coffee service and café workflow
* Reliable, organized, and proactive
* Passion for quality food and great service
