Maintenance Coordinator
Employment type: Ongoing
Salary: Clerk Grade 7 / 8, $110,266 to $122,058 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for delivering quality and timely facilities maintenance services to the Department's assets and stakeholders. The role ensures fit-for-purpose, value-for-money outsourced facilities maintenance meets contracted organisational, public sector and legislative requirements within Correctional Centres, Youth Justice Centres and Courts.
What you'll do
Assist with the day-to-day management of facilities maintenance services within the Department's portfolio in conjunction with facilities management service providers to provide safe and functional facilities for staff, occupants and the general public.
Manage stakeholder relationships within your defined geographical region to maintain ongoing levels of engagement and support.
Conduct stakeholder engagement, site visits and property audits; review and approve quotes; oversee contract requirements; ensure service delivery outcomes.
Handle property insurance claims, financial review of costs, analyse data and performance within portals, and attend operational meetings.
Travel extensively across regional NSW and undertake overnight stays as required.
Work collaboratively across portfolios and regions within a flexible and agile environment.

Essential requirements of the role
Relevant qualifications in Facilities Contract Management, Property, or equivalent industry experience.
Current and valid Driver's licence – required for travel to multiple locations across NSW by car and overnight stays.
Appointments are subject to reference checks.
Some roles may also require a National Criminal History Record Check.
What we're looking for
Experience in the coordination and delivery of maintenance activities.
Experience with managing services contracts.
Ability to manage competing priorities and high volumes of work effectively within tight timeframes and budgets.
Strong facilities maintenance experience managing the delivery of asset maintenance.
Effective communication skills to multiple stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
Experience in customer service / coordination roles in a related industry.
Understanding of statutory maintenance requirements, legislation, reactive maintenance, planned preventive, major periodic maintenance and maintenance prioritisation.
Someone who can hit the ground running, is driven by passion for maintenance & service delivery, presents confidently to stakeholders, works well in a team and independently.
