Proactively manage day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of materials and equipment. Responsible for inventory accuracy and proper material warehousing.
Key Duties
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of materials.
- Manage inventory in accordance with procedures, focusing on inventory accuracy.
- Operate complex mobile plant and equipment for quality and productivity.
- Manage transport of goods and supplies; recommend improvements for on-time delivery.
- Manage warehouse/stores, developing new procedures as required for storing and recording goods.
- Design own monthly work schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others.
- Maintain a strong understanding of chemical management and Chain of responsibility.
- Follow HS&E; policies; instruct the team in safe working methods.
Key Technical Competencies
- Act as an authority on Storage optimisation and Logistics (moving and storing plant/equipment).
- Independently manage and apply protected systems of work (Health & Safety).
- Design, implement, and manage Inventory Management control systems.
- Expertise in Loading & Unloading optimisation.
