Key Roles and Responsibilities
The State Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales efforts for Western Australia for Kenworth. This role offers a mix of sales, strategy, operational management, and hands-on challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic input and expertise to the General Manager – Trucks WA, collaborating with the senior management team.
* Participating in all truck sales activities within the state, with strong territory plans and achievement of market targets.
* Leading a customer-driven team focused on outstanding customer satisfaction.
* Developing plans, work programs, and initiatives to meet the company's profit targets.
* Building an exceptional team culture by sourcing top talent, coaching, and developing team members to achieve sales strategies.
* Maintaining strong relationships with OEMs, working closely with their teams to understand products thoroughly, enabling your team to deliver effective solutions.
* Providing high-standard reporting on performance relative to forecasts, budgets, and sales plans.
Requirements
* Experience in leadership sales roles, preferably in automotive and truck industries.

* Trade qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications in business are advantageous but not essential.
* Experience in related industries such as Agriculture, Mining & Construction Equipment, and Power Generation is highly regarded.
