About Us: Inclusive by Nature, Structured by Design
Here at Lynka, we're more than just a company – we're a team of passionate folks who believe in the magic of nature-based play, conventional play and outdoor open areas. We're leaders in dreaming up, crafting, and building incredible play spaces for little adventurers in early learning centres, energetic kids at schools, and families enjoying public open spaces including urban furniture and outdoor fitness. We're driven by the idea that connecting with nature through play is essential, and we pour that belief into every project we touch.
About the Role: Crafting Unique Nature Play Spaces
This role offers a unique opportunity to blend traditional carpentry with creative construction, focusing on nature bush poles and processed timbers to build bespoke playground and landscape structures. While most of your work will be team-based, you'll also need expertise to competently work unsupervised when required.
Every project at Lynka is unique, demanding a high level of creative carpentry and experience and the ability to think beyond conventional methods. This ensures an exciting and challenging work environment where no two days are the same. You'll be working on diverse sites across Perth metro and regional WA. This is a full-time gig (38 hours a week, Monday to Friday).
We're looking for applicants with a minimum of 4 years post-apprenticeship experience. While more experience is certainly a plus, we are committed to providing specialised training for the unique aspects of this position.
