Key Role in Supporting Communication and Swallowing
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide therapy and assessment services for individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties.
This vital role involves supporting people with disability, including those on an NDIS plan, to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and support networks to deliver evidence-based interventions that promote positive outcomes.
* About the Job:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
* Identify individual needs and develop tailored plans aligned with client goals.
* Provide high-quality clinical supports in various settings, including homes, schools, and group homes.
* Empower clients to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
* Prepare reports and recommendations in line with NDIS requirements.
* Requirements:
* SPA Registration: Must be registered as a Speech Pathologist.
* Preferred Experience: NDIS and/or disability sector experience.
* Community Services: Experience working in community services settings is a plus. Willingness to provide services within the community, including in-home.
* Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
