About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Parts Department as an Assistant Parts Manager. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our parts operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Parts Management: Assist the Fixed Operations Manager in managing the daily operations of the Parts Department, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts.
2. Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders and deliveries.
3. Inventory Maintenance: Maintain organized and efficient parts storage areas.
4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders.
5. Department Performance: Monitor and manage department performance metrics, including inventory turnover and customer satisfaction.
6. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement parts department policies and procedures.
7. Sales Growth: Drive parts sales growth and foster new customer relationships.
8. Customer Inquiries: Respond promptly to all customer inquiries.
9. Team Coordination: Coordinate with service and sales teams to ensure timely parts availability.
10. Staff Development: Support the training and development of department staff.
11. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
12. Customer Issues: Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction.
