General Medical Services Opportunity
This role presents a unique chance to provide comprehensive medical care to patients within correctional environments. As a Visiting Medical Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality general medical services in conjunction with the Nursing Unit Manager, Service Director, and Clinical Director.
To excel in this position, you must possess:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
* Proof of specialist recognition by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award
* Demonstrated significant experience in General Practice, showcasing knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches to acute and chronic medical conditions
Prior experience in emergency medicine, general practice, adult internal medicine, or rural medicine is advantageous.
