Your key responsibilities as a senior contributor to the hardware design team are:Professionally engaging in electronic project design and development activities including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, pcb artwork, verification, test and manufacture.Acting as a product lead and subject matter expert, guiding clients and project teams.Contributing to the development of the hardware team through improving your own capabilities and developing junior colleagues.Ensuring that quality standards are met in line with the company's quality management system.Performing effective estimation of current and potential work for the hardware team.Performing technical reviews for hardware designs and documents.Acting as technical contact to clients and project managers for any electronics design related matters.Contributing to improving hardware design processes, procedures, systems and documentation.Required Skills & ExperienceBe an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a working visaHold a relevant degree from a reputable university (e.g. Bachelor of Electronics Engineering)Have worked as a professional electronics design engineer for 7 or more yearsBe registered as a professional engineer in Victoria (if based in Victoria)Be competent in the design of analog and digital electronicsHave experience in the design of electronic products from concept to manufactureBe proficient in Altium schematic capture and PCB layoutPossess excellent verbal and written English communication skillsBe able to work independently and as part of a teamAbout UsIf you are passionate about creating innovative, human-centric products and want to do it as part of one of Australia's leading product design teams, this unique opportunity is for you
