About The Role
We are seeking a CI/CD Tester to support quality assurance for CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines. This role focuses on validating pipeline behaviour, ensuring standard checks and guardrails function as intended, and producing reliable test evidence to support release readiness.
You will work closely with the CI/CD Senior Engineer to test pipeline templates, validate promotion paths, verify controls, and ensure regressions are detected early through automated execution.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Executing test cases for CI/CD pipelines, including:
* Build and deployment stage behaviour
* Configuration injection and artefact handling
* Promotion across environments and rollback behaviour
* Validating security and quality guardrails embedded in pipelines, including failure handling and enforcement behaviour
* Testing automated controls that support secure SDLC practices
* Supporting regression testing of pipeline templates and automation scripts
* Logging, tracking, and retesting defects related to pipeline execution and automation reliability
* Maintaining test artefacts and execution evidence for releases and operational handover
What We're Looking For
* 1–2+ years' experience in system testing, integration testing, QA automation, or DevOps testing roles
* Comfort working with pipeline logs, execution output, and troubleshooting failed runs
* Strong documentation and evidence capture skills
* Interest in building deeper capability in CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
