Overview
At Thales, the Digital Identity Architect is a senior role within the Digital Identity Practice in the Cyber Technology Integration Services (CTIS) Service Line. The architect defines the Digital Identity North Star for clients and collaborates across delivery teams to achieve it. This role leads solution design and governance for projects as part of Secured by Thales engagements and enables Digital Identity teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will build strong relationships with client project teams, management, and executive sponsors as a trusted advisor, articulating value-based digital identity solutions and ROI for engagements. The role requires eligibility for Baseline Security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Develop a sound understanding of client needs to drive opportunities and deliver Digital Identity engagements across the Cyber Technology Integration Services Group.
* Define and manage the delivery of Digital Identity solutions to our clients. Solutions include Workforce IAM, Customer IAM, Verifiable Credentials, and Digital Wallets.
* Lead Digital Identity research projects to identify and develop new Digital Identity service offerings.
* Participate in the recruitment processes to identify and select suitable candidates for potential Digital Identity roles in the team.
* Perform various Architecture services including Digital Identity, Enterprise Security Architecture, and Cloud Security Architecture.
* Mentor team members in Digital Identity architecture, including identity training and learning opportunities.
* Provide quality solution designs for the client suitable for both executive and technical audiences, describing the vision, requirements, technical solution, and implementation considerations.
* Develop and deliver training and/or speaking material for public and/or private events.
* Maintain knowledge of industry trends, proactively researching security risks, controls, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
* Experience applying best practice frameworks including ISO27001, ISO27002 and NIST SP 800-63. NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework – including the information Security Manual.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
* Minimum five years' experience delivering Solution Architecture services in complex, regulated industries such as Government, Banking and Finance, or Critical Infrastructure.
* Minimum three years supporting the sale of Digital Identity solutions and services to clients.
* Minimum three years supporting contractual management for small to large projects as part of a broader contract management team.
