Specialised Carer – Respite Care

HammondCare's Respite Cottages provide short‐term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights.
Hourly Rates: $***** to $*****+ penalties
Shifts include: 7.15am‐Morning Shift • Afternoon Shift • Night Shift
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene.
* Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans.
* Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays.
* Promote guest dignity and independence through daily activities.
* Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally.
What we're looking for
* No formal qualification is required.
* Certificate III – Individual Support is an advantage.
* First Aid certificate desirable.
* Empathy and compassion are essential.
* Willingness and desire to learn – we provide job training.
* Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone.
* Strong team player who communicates professionally and maintains confidentiality.
