Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate Opportunities
CSIRO is seeking talented Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to join our team in various fields of research. The scholarships are available for students pursuing a postgraduate degree in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The successful candidates will be supported by CSIRO's expert researchers and have access to state-of-the-art facilities across Australia.
Additionally, the students will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a collaborative environment, working with industry partners and academics from top universities.
* Chemistry: Focus on organic synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, natural products, drug discovery, polymer chemistry, or inorganic chemistry.
* Biology: Explore cell biology, microbiology, biological assays, biologics, vaccines, or agricultural science.
* Engineering: Develop innovative solutions in medical devices, biomaterials, sensors, energy applications, material science, or pharmacology.
Eligibility criteria include being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with Australian citizenship. Candidates must also provide evidence of their Indigenous status.
Candidates with flexible working arrangements and a strong passion for innovation and problem-solving are highly sought after.
