We're seeking an experienced Tiler to join Commerce Building Services in Cairns. This full-time role.
You'll handle bathroom rebuilds, waterproofing, and tiling repairs across insurance and residential jobs. Great opportunity to secure long term, consistent work with a respected local builder and a supportive small team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out tiling and waterproofing works for bathroom rebuilds, repairs, and refurbishments
* Travel to local and regional sites as required to complete jobs
* Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure quality and timelines are met
* Liaise with clients, tenants, and trades professionally while on site
* Accurately measure, cut, and lay tiles for walls, floors, and wet areas
* Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and waterproofing compliance
About You:
* Qualified Tiler (Cert III or equivalent)
* Experience in bathroom projects, repairs, and refurbishments
* Waterproofing certification highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality finishes
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised
* Photos or examples of previous work are a big plus
