Merchandise Officer Volunteer - Southern Football League
The Merchandise Officer is responsible for all merchandise that is to be sold during matches & other club events. They also ensure the issue of the correct Guernseys for the teams.
Responsibilities
* Keep records of club Guernseys that have been issued to each team, including sizes, numbers and quantities.
* Ensure merchandise is available for sale at all home games and club events.
* Have an adequate display at these events and promote them through various means (eg. Facebook, website and flyers).
* Maintain stock levels and order more in conjunction with the treasurer.
* Keep accurate records of all sales that are made.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong understanding of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
* Good customer service skills and the ability to diffuse an aggressive situation.
* Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
* Ability to grow and maintain relationships.
* No qualifications required, but experience in a similar role is an advantage; the role can be learned on the job.
