Retail Casual Charters Towers, QLD We are currently searching for casual junior sales assistants to join our team.
This position will be based in Charters Towers, Queensland.
The role of a junior sales assistant is to support the day-to-day operations of the retail store, contribute to customer satisfaction and help drive sales by providing excellent service and assistance to shoppers.
Hours : Availability to work weekends is a must.
After-school work may also be available if required.
Saturday : 8 : 40am - 2 : 10pm
Sunday : 9 : 35am - 1 : 10pm
Responsibilities
Cash handling and processing payments
Participating in training and development activities>
Greeting and assisting customers promptly and courteously
Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives
Responding to customer inquiries, providing product information, and offering recommendations as needed
Assisting with stock replenishment, including unpacking deliveries, shelving products, and maintaining organised displays
Qualifications
A willingness to learn
A dedication to accuracy
Cash handling and basic math skills
Familiarity with basic computer skills, point-of-sale systems, or other relevant technology, even if gained outside of a traditional retail setting
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and higher management
