What is a School‑Based Traineeship?
A School‑based Traineeship allows students to combine their schooling with part‑time on‑the‑job training and formal study to achieve a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
This type of learning is a great way to get your career off to a head start while remaining at school and being well underway to getting a qualification before you finish Year 12.
Applicants starting Year 11 in 2026 should speak to their career adviser for more information about how this will work with your schooling.
Duration: 1 day per week for two (2) years.
