The Role
We are excited to announce that our lovely team at Meadowvale Village are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed, customer focused Food Services Attendant to join them on a permanent part-time basis.
Shifts will involve working every:
- Wednesday – 4:30pm to 8:30pm
- Thursdays – 4:30pm to 8:30pm
- Friday – 11:00am – 3:00pm AND 4:30pm to 8:30pm (split shift)
Duties of a Food Services Attendant will include:
- Assisting with food preparations and plating up meals
- Cleaning and upkeep of workstation to food safety standards
- Preparation and setting up dining area and serve meals to residents for lunch and dinner
- Responding to resident enquiries
- Cleaning and washing up of dishes and cutlery
- Assisting kitchen staff as needed
About You
You will ideally have a background in hospitality or customer service, with specific experience working within the food space. The successful candidate will also require the following:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be able to multitask and work unsupervised.
- Be extremely well presented and reliable
- Have a friendly and customer-focused approach, with a can-do and proactive attitude
- To have a passion for resident engagement, with the ability to exceed customer expectations
- To have a current First Aid and CPR certificates, or be willing to obtain
