We are seeking a Facilities / Maintenance Technician / Fitter to join the team at a well-established global food manufacturing organisation in Melbourne's South East. This is a hands-on role responsible for operating and monitoring the site’s Trade Waste Treatment Plant while ensuring environmental compliance and the reliable operation of site utilities and infrastructure. The position will also support the maintenance of site facilities, plant and equipment across the manufacturing operation, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns to ensure production runs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the Trade Waste Treatment Plant Conduct daily testing, monitoring and compliance checks Oversee and support site utilities, including boilers, compressors, chillers and HVAC Coordinate contractors and oversee safe work practices Assist with manufacturing maintenance and breakdown response About You Trade qualification (Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter, highly regarded) Experience in wastewater, utilities, facilities or manufacturing maintenance Exposure to HVAC, boilers, compressors or industrial plant Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance within food, beverage or process manufacturing is highly regarded The Opportunity Permanent full-time role Enterprise Agreement - C8 Trades Level $52.26 per hour super Join a globally recognised manufacturer with strong safety and maintenance systems Apply now or contact Blaze Staffing Solutions on 1300 008 005 for more information.
