Spray Painter Job
This is a full-time position for an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
The key responsibilities of this role include colour mixing and matching vehicles after preparation and scheduling for painting, building and maintaining a colour library, preparing, priming, and painting vehicles as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process, buffing and denibbing vehicles, handling all vehicles with due care and attention, noting any extra paint work required that is not quoted for, reporting any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager, cleaning work bay and workshop areas, and coaching apprentices when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a trade qualification in Spray Painting, a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter, a strong commitment to working in a safe manner, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team, the ability to meet strict deadlines, reliability, punctuality, and hardworking nature, and own tools to fulfil the role.

The salary for junior-mid experienced tradespeople is $60-$80k, and for mid-senior tradespeople is $80k-$100k, with the opportunity to earn a production bonus.
