With continued investment across systems, reporting, fleet, depot infrastructure and people, the business is entering an exciting growth phase and is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead new business growth across Victoria. About the Role This is a senior commercial role suited to a proven transport sales professional who understands road freight, freight profiles, pricing, customer acquisition and account growth. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts, building a strong sales pipeline and helping shape a more structured, modern business development function. This is not a heavily corporate or overly layered environment. You will have direct access to decision-makers, strong operational support and the opportunity to make a visible impact. Key Responsibilities Win new business across road freight, LTL, palletised freight and transport services Build and manage a structured sales pipeline Identify customers with time-sensitive, high-volume or complex freight requirements Develop strong relationships with customers, decision-makers and operations teams Prepare commercially sound quotes and pricing recommendations Grow existing accounts and increase share of wallet Mentor junior BDMs and contribute to building the broader sales team Bring market insights, ideas and modern sales approaches to the business About You You will ideally have: Experience in Australian road freight, domestic transport or logistics sales Strong understanding of LTL, palletised freight, freight profiles and transport pricing Proven success winning new customers and growing revenue Commercial confidence and the ability to discuss rates, margins and customer requirements A relationship-led sales style with strong follow-up and account management skills Confidence working closely with operations, depot teams and senior leadership A proactive, accountable and self-driven approach Experience in 3PL, interstate linehaul, domestic freight, palletised transport, road transport, freight forwarding or logistics sales will be highly regarded.
