**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
The ideal applicant will have a deep understanding of inclusion and support for learners from diverse backgrounds (EALD, Refugees, First Nations, Students with Disabilities), and be prepared to lead through the implementation of policies and processes enabling students from diverse backgrounds and needs to succeed with learning. You will be capable of managing competing priorities, support programs, identifying and sourcing professional development and building quality partnerships within and outside of the school.
