Job Title: Volunteer Canteen Assistant
Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in your community?
We are seeking a volunteer to assist with food preparation and distribution at our canteen on Mondays. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for:
1. Preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students.
2. Cleaning up after meal times to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
3. Engaging with children in a friendly and supportive manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a warm and caring attitude, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You will also be required to obtain a Working With Children card and complete FoodSafe Food Handler Training.
This is a regular commitment of two to three days a week for 6-hour shifts over a 12-month period. Don't worry if you're new to this type of role - we provide full training to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
