As a Support Worker, you will make a positive impact every day on children living in Residential Care.
* Deliver high-quality support plans tailored to individuals with disabilities and young people
* Assist with daily care, mobility, and skill development
* Build meaningful relationships and provide mentorship and emotional support
* Support community participation and recreational activities that promote independence
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective support strategies
* Advocate for customer rights and promote personal growth
* Create safe and nurturing environments for young people with complex needs
What You'll Need for Success
* Be passionate about creating positive change and promoting human rights
* Exhibit empathy, compassion, and resilience in your work
* Develop excellent communication and teamwork skills to achieve goals
* Hold a Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or be willing to obtain)
* Ensure current First Aid, CPR, Drivers license & NDIS Worker check or be willing to obtain
* Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts is required
