Overview
Williams Drafting Co is a Perth based family owned drafting company that works within the commercial and residential industries with clients across Australia.
The focus of this role is checking residential and commercial drawings created by the team to ensure design compliance with NCC and that the drawings are completed to the relevant level needed for Council DA Application / Building Permit Application / Construction Drawings.
In addition to checking, there may also be some client services tasks.
Location: Perth-based role; licensing and experience requirements reflect the Australian building design regulatory context.
Responsibilities
* Check residential and commercial drawings for design compliance with NCC.
* Ensure drawings are completed to the level required for Council DA Application, Building Permit Application, and Construction Drawings.
* Assist with occasional client services tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Diploma (or higher) of Building Design.
* QBCC Medium Rise license.
* Relevant Building Design experience predominantly in Queensland.
Details
This role will start with approximately 20 hours per week with the view to increase to full time within a short period of time.
