FIFO Sprinkler Fitter - $180,000 to $200,000 + Super (Includes all penalties and EBA)
Your new company
You will be working for one of Australia's leading fire protection companies and working based on one of their mining sites based in Adelaide and you will be joining their team as a Fire Technician/Sprinkler Fitter. In this role, they are open for technicians to come from other states across Australia, and it's a perfect opportunity for somebody who is looking to work in the mines long term and be well compensated in the process.
Your new role
You will be joining the company as a FIFO Fire Technician/Sprinkler fitter and responsible for a variety of tasks on-site, the swings will either be 8 days on and 6 days off working 12-hour shifts or 9 days on and 5 days off doing 10.5-hour days.
Your general responsibilities in the role will be as follows :
* Installation, testing, maintenance and repair of fire protection systems including, but not limited to, deluge systems, gas suppression, hydrant and hose reel systems
* Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures
* Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards and is serviced to the highest standards
* Complete service activities to guarantee timely and efficient completion of a task.
* Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Proactively identify and resolve site issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Current sprinkler fitter licence
* Previous experience working in the fire industry
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong understanding and commitment to HSE
* Current Drivers Licence
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test
* Ability to pass a police check
