Job Description
The Job Coach is a critical role in supporting clients in achieving sustainable employment. As a Job Coach, you will work closely with clients to identify their strengths and abilities, develop personalized plans to achieve their employment goals, and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the process.
You will be responsible for:
* Conducting assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored plans to achieve employment outcomes;
* Providing job readiness training and coaching to clients to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to secure and maintain employment;
* BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO SOURCE JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR CLIENTS;
* PLACING PARTICIPANTS INTO SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT LEADING TO OUTCOMES;
* Ensuring all activity is appropriately recorded, documented, and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements;
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, employers, and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Experience in customer service or a client-facing role, minimum one year's experience;
* Demonstrated experience of working with people overcoming challenges;
* HAPPY AND CONFIDENT LIAISING WITH MULTIPLE EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS;
* Confident working to KPIs and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers;
* An overall desire to be part of our broader organization, with a true belief in our purpose: to connect people and business, so both can thrive;
* Hold a current Driver's Licence.
