Non-traditional tech pathway : You've entered the tech world through alternative education routes such as TAFE courses, traineeships, micro-credentials, bootcamps or vendor certifications. Note: If you're just starting out, a Diploma-level qualification from TAFE will set you up for success. For experienced professionals who have reskilled, your valuable work experience means lower-level certifications may be acceptable. Recent qualifications : You have completed your tech qualifications within the last 12 months or are due to complete them within the next 3 months. In line with this, you have less than 12 months working experience in tech. Working rights : You hold Australian/NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency at the time of your application. Availability : You can work at least two days per week.
