Position: Stonemason Fabricator
Location: Smithfield, Sydney
Job Type: Full time
Starting Time: ASAP
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: $40 - $50 plus Super, OT
Your key duties
* Fabrication of stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects using natural stone, porcelain, Dekton and Zero silica surfaces
* Cutting, shaping & polishing stone using various machines including a waterjet and CNCs (training given if required) and hand tools
* Involvement in all aspects of the fabrication process including glueing, polishing and laminating
* Installation of stone products in residential and commercial premises
* Packing stone & slabs onto A frames in preparation for delivery
* Follow OH&S directions and maintain a safe working environmen
What You'll Need To Succeed
* A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
* At least 2 years of experience as a stonemason fabricator or with benchtop installations.
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to read plans and measurements
* A passion for stone craftsmanship
* Current working rights in Australia
