We are currently looking to employ multiple Disability Support Workers on a casual basis to support several participants who are located in Clifton Springs and Drysdale who have availability for 7-9am Monday - Friday shifts and Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 7.30pm Shift, Monday - Friday 6pm - 8pm and also shifts on Saturdays. There may also be possibility of 10am - 3pm shifts Monday - Friday

Who we are: Private Respite and Accommodation Services (PRAS) is a registered disability support service under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offering services across Greater Geelong. We provide one on one, low and high intensity respite support services for people with disabilities and their families/carers within their family home, support worker's home or in the community. We undertake all aspects of service provision with confidentiality and professionalism and act with integrity, empathy; recognising the importance of trust, honesty and respect. We endeavor to match our staff with participants for a positive outcome for all. Key duties and responsibilities include**:One on One disability support that meets participants individual needs and goals that gives opportunity for participant's skill development. ** Community Access - One on one support for recreational and leisure activities that enhance participants social skills **Personal care and meal preparation as required**, as applicable **Completion of relevant documentation**

What you must have**:Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent qualification and/or experience in the Community Services Sector ** Current Level Two First Aid and CPR **Current Victorian Driver's License **Satisfactory completion of both Police and Working With Children (Employee) Checks, NDIS Screening and 3 doses of Covid 19 Vaccine.

Note: If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.
