Job Summary
As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking division, you'll be instrumental in providing customers with a seamless banking experience, meeting each customer's end‑to‑end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs‑based conversations, and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
* Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
* Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective.
* Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
* Act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
* Passionately deliver on our Customer Promises to ensure customers leave the branch as strong advocates of ANZ.
Qualifications
* Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
* Experience as a user and promoter of technology – working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
* Lending experience or willingness to progress to lending is desired.
* Ability to multi‑task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
* Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Sound understanding of compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
