About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our Out of Home Sales Team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of existing customers and actively pursue new business opportunities within the Hume Region of Victoria (inclusive of Shepparton, Benalla, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga and Albury)from a varied group of customers – cafes, independent retailers, entertainment venues, aquatic centres, beach kiosks, convenience stores and more.
Responsibilities
* Win new business and develop existing customers;
* Manage key accounts within your territory;
* Deliver on sales KPI's;
* Negotiate directly with key business decision makers – (a strong degree of commercial acumen is essential to your success);
* Drive compliance and distribution within your customer base;
* Manage PFD Shepparton, Albury, Griffith and Wagga branch relationships; and
* Overnight travel as per customer matrix frequency (including trips to Griffith & Wagga alternating once a month).
Reporting into the Business Development Manager (BDM), this is a position with a strong existing customer base of direct customers. You will be given the room to build your own effective relationships as well as the support from the existing BDE/BDM team to assist you to develop and grow your territory.
Package includes a fully maintained company vehicle, phone and tablet with a total package potential value around $100,000.
About you
* You must be located within the territory (Albury & surrounds);
* You can demonstrate sales experience within FMCG, retail or field sales (preferred but not essential);
* Outgoing, approachable, sales focused and has a desire to further your career within one of Australia's most iconic brands;
* A confident communicator and have the ability to adapt your communication style given you will be a true partner to the business and customers;
* Demonstrated success in seeking and converting new business opportunities;
* Excellent relationship building skills;
* Strong commercial and analytical skills;
* Safe driver history;
* Have a positive can-do attitude and be able to adapt to change; and
* Self-motivated, highly organised & able to work autonomously.
