As Insurance Placement & Product Solutions Principal, you'll build and unlock new product and placement pathways that expand what's possible for our business and our customers. This is a senior, influential role where you'll operate at the heart of markets, products and distribution, creating solutions rather than managing status quo. This is a permanent full‐time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You'll Do
* Design and deliver WFI's insurance product and placement strategy, opening access to new capacity, markets and solutions.
* Build innovative placement and product pathways that meet total customer needs and support sustainable growth.
* Engage domestic and international markets to bring new insurer relationships and opportunities into WFI.
* Act as an internal placement specialist, partnering closely with underwriting, portfolio and growth teams.
* Support and advise Authorised Representatives by clearly communicating solutions and enabling confidence in placement options.
* Coordinate complex or high value opportunities, ensuring timely, commercial and compliant outcomes across the network.
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years' experience in general insurance, with strong exposure to placement, underwriting or market facing roles.
* A track record of creating or structuring new insurance product or placement solutions.
* Strong market relationships and confidence engaging insurers, partners and senior stakeholders.
* Commercial thinking with the creativity to solve complex problems differently.
* Clear communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
* Energy, curiosity and motivation to help grow and shape something new.
