Key Role in Public Health
This position is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation. As an Executive Officer, you will provide high-level executive services and support to the Chief Health Officer (CHO) and the Public Health Division.
Your primary objective will be to deliver sound advice, confidential, and high-level administrative support. You will be the first point of contact for advice and information for the Office of the CHO, coordinating quality control and preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
As a successful candidate, you will have the ability to interpret and understand the business, political, and organisational environment, identify emerging issues, and drive processes to meet corporate and strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed strategic, conceptual, analytical, and collaborative skills, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities within critical timeframes while maintaining quality control in a complex environment.
You will be responsible for summarising, synthesising, and presenting complex reports, briefings, and evidence-based advice. Additionally, you will develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate, quality control, and prepare correspondence, including Legislative Assembly Briefs, Ministerials, Cabinet Submissions, general correspondence, reports, and presentations.
* Manage internal and external reporting obligations, including business plans, budgets, human resourcing, and corporate reporting requirements.
* Plan and manage projects identified by the CHO, providing recommendations to support implementation of divisional priorities.
* Develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
