About the Role
We're looking for a high-performing Operations Supervisor to lead our fast-paced operations team forLiquids and Industrial services .
Based in Tanawha, Sunshine Coast, QLD, this permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm .
You will oversee daily run allocation, performance monitoring, safety, and compliance, providing strong leadership and support to staff while delivering exceptional service to our council, commercial, and residential contracts .
This role also involves attending after-hours emergency callouts when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate daily job allocation, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling of drivers, routes, and vehicles
* Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure high performance, compliance, and service quality
* Supervise daily collection and recycling operations while maintaining strict safety, service, and environmental standards
* Conduct end-of-day debriefs, monitor timelines and breaks, and ensure route completion
* Maintain oversight of all daily operations, proactively resolving issues and supporting drivers
* Support driver inductions, training, and ongoing development
* Manage operational reporting, assist with incident follow-ups, and coordinate vehicle maintenance with both onsite and external workshops
What You'll Bring
* Proven supervisory or leadership experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or similar fields
* Experience in the waste or liquids industry highly regarded
* Strong scheduling, dispatch, and resource planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
* Tech-savvy with solid administration and Microsoft Office skills
