Primary objective
Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of grants across their full life cycle, including application assessment,
agreement management, stakeholder engagement, and performance management. The role provides strategic and
operational advice to stakeholders regarding grants, supports system configuration, and contributes to strong service
outcomes aligned with department objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Deliver end to end service activities including advice, assessment, contract, and relationship management in line with
policy, governance requirements, and operational objectives.
2. Provide timely fit for purpose advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to interpreting financial,
contractual, policy, and grants systems.
1. Support grant system configuration and process improvements including development of documentation testing user
support and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing queries and managing strong relationships, problem
solving and service quality.
1. Prepare correspondence, reports, briefings and documentation for Executive, internal and external stakeholders or for
operational needs.
6. Contribute to risk management, accountability and reporting including maintaining accurate records supporting audit
readiness and improving data integrity.
7. Support team capability including risk management, training, data integrity and contribute to a culture of continuous
improvement and shared accountability.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to manage complex service delivery activities including planning, assessment, negotiation,
monitoring of deliverables and obligations in a dynamic environment.
2. Highly developed analytical and advisory skills with experience interpreting policy, financial or operational information
and providing accurate, fit for purpose advice to inform or influence decisions.
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to confidently convey complex information and
work positively with stakeholders to reach mutually agreed outcomes.
1. Demonstrated experience working within record keeping and administration systems and the creation of process
guidance documents to improve client support, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
5. Proven ability to manage own competing priorities and be versatile to ensure the team to meet deadlines while
maintaining high standards of accuracy, accountability, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
