Converge International is a leader in providing health & wellbeing and people risk management solutions. We provide a range of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), counselling, crisis response, workplace pastoral care services, training, conflict resolution and consulting services. We are a wholly Australian owned organisation with the wellbeing of people and their workplaces at the heart of all we do.
We are currently seeking motivated and experienced registered Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counsellor to join our team as an On-Site Consultant.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality counselling services at the client sites
* Assess work stressors and risk factors in diverse workplaces
* Offer solution-focused interventions and support
* Onsite workplace support includes Walk and Talk, one on one counselling, Toolbox meetings, lunchtime awareness sessions, peer supervision for managers and general support
* Be self-motivated with excellent time management skills
* 6-7 days per fortnight roster on a permanent part time basis available
* Please note that a full mine induction (including medical assessment and a drug and alcohol screening) will be required prior to commencement
* All flights are from Perth Airport
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in allied health
* Experience in short-term, solutions-oriented interventions
* Excellent time management, report writing, and negotiation skills
* Iscaring, compassionate and driven to make a positive difference in people's lives
