About the company:
Our client is a well-established FMCG manufacturer operating a modern production facility in Stapleton. The business is known for its strong safety culture, collaborative team environment, and commitment to developing apprentices into skilled tradespeople with long-term career opportunities.
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in:
* Assisting with preventative maintenance and asset care on production equipment
* Supporting mechanical fault-finding and breakdown assistance under supervision
* Working with spare parts, tools, and storage systems to build parts identification skills
* Assisting with planned maintenance projects and annual equipment overhauls
What we're looking for:
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
* Genuine interest in mechanical trades / industrial maintenance
* Completion of Year 12 (a must) and a Certificate II in Engineering / Mechanical Pre-Apprenticeship (highly regarded)
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (site is not accessible by public transport)
* Previous part-time or casual work experience (highly regarded)
