Claims Operations Specialist
Our organization is seeking a skilled Claims Operations Specialist to join our claims team. This key role involves assessing light vehicle warranty claims, ensuring accurate costings, and determining coverage in accordance with policy terms.
The successful candidate will also support internal claims staff, contribute to process improvements, and play a proactive role in driving service delivery standards.
* Review and assess light vehicle mechanical warranty claims submitted by clients and repairers.
* Evaluate cost estimates and ensure repair procedures align with warranty policy coverage.
* Liaise with service providers and clients to validate technical details and clarify discrepancies.
* Assist in managing and supporting junior assessors and claims officers.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to support claim decisions.
* Identify and escalate high-risk or non-standard claims as required.
* Support the Claims Manager in workflow optimization and compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in warranty, claims, or mechanical assessment within automotive, insurance, or warranty industries.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, with a sound understanding of light vehicle systems and components.
* Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
* Ability to interpret policy documents and apply coverage rules to specific cases.
* Experience leading or mentoring team members is advantageous.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks is desirable.
