About This Role
Our Melbourne campuses are looking to welcome full-time Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators with at least two years of full-time experience in an Early Childhood setting.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of $68,865–$78,000 plus super, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
Provide high-quality education, development and care to children, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Engage children in meaningful, open interactions that support skill acquisition for life and learning.
Build trusting relationships with children through warm, responsive interactions.
Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for all children on campus.
Comply with national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) documentation.
Maintain and deliver routines and programs specific to the classroom, including small-group sessions.
Implement the OAC Grow curriculum within the campus.
Document children's learning through the OAC Connect app and mentor other team members.
Create engaging learning environments in line with OAC Grow.
Collaborate with colleagues and respect their developmental insights and school readiness objectives under the guidance of the Campus Director.
Education & Experience
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a registered Training Organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification).
Minimum of two years full-time relevant work experience.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
A creative, supportive, and cooperative team player.
Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
